Caring for our community and fighting for its rights.
The Largs Community Council is one of the most active and successful in Scotland.
It meets regularly in Moorburn Chambers, and all meetings are open to the public.
It is it is here to raise and fight for local issues, and to represent your views.
The Community Council is not party political in any way, and will quite happily
take on the North Ayrshire Council whatever political party might be in control!
All issues are discussed and action taken where appropriate, and on other pages of
this website you may already have seen results of their service for the local
community. The Community Council would like to hear from you.
The current members (21st May 2001) are:
Tom Marshall, Ian Murdoch, Harry McEachan, Jim Perman, Colvin Houston, Brian Hogan, Margaret Brown,
John Robertson, Jim Inglis, Bill McLachlan, Ian Mills, Kevin Dyson and Bob Angus.
Mark Dearie joined in December 2001.
